St. Joseph's 3, Hilton Head Prep 2: Hilton Head Prep's season came to an end in the first round of the SCISAA Class 3-A state playoffs in Orangeburg. On a wet field, the Dolphins fell behind 3-1 and were never able to catch back up.
Hallie Parker and Becky DeRose both scored goals for Hilton Head Prep, which had won three straight state titles.
Keeper Grace Anderson made three saves.
The Dolphins finish with a record of 12-8.
"It was a good season for us," Hilton Head Prep coach Michael Townsend said. "We got better as the season went on. Hopefully, we can take it forward to next season."
